Corporate foundations are a way for foundries to boost the economic value along with social and environmental impact on the local area. Over the last few months, a positive phenomenon has taken root in Italy: donations have been made on the part of companies and business owners to hospitals, research institutes, and voluntary organizations fighting Covid-19. Foundations formed by business owners make possible to promote their corporate responsibility projects and enhance their company image with foundry-led social responsibility and environmental sustainability programs and make these new activities more permanent and functional, to the benefit of both companies and society.
