A few days ago a new machine was put into operation in the foundry. It’s a double-arm continuous mixer with a capacity of dispensing sand and reagents from 20 to 60 t/h. It’s mounted on a mobile carriage and adjustable in height up to 2.7 m with pneumatic controls. With 40 t in the machine and another 40 t in silos, it has a total capacity of 80 t. It uses computerized command and control systems, with significant advantages in terms of optimization of production times and processes.
