As it emerges from the latest annual Assofond survey on employment, absenteeism and company policies, based on a review of Confindustria data, also in 2019 the foundry sector remained broadly stable. In terms of how workers were employed full-time permanent contracts dominated, applying to 93,4% of employees. The Italian national figure was 84,4% which rose to 89%for the industrial sector considered separately, a worse result compared to the foundries one which once again then, rank above average in their ability to offer stable contracts to workers who decide to pursue a career in the sector.
